What is Bazi?
BaZi is a scientific technique developed in China to plot a birth chart that reveals the cosmic components at the time of birth. The cosmic components are represented by five energy phases known as the five Chinese elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. The five Chinese elements result from the presence of planets Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, Venus and Mercury.
There are texts on BaZi belonging to the Tang Dynasty (618-907) but it was Grand Master Xu Zi Ping during the Five Dynasty (907-978) who introduced many of the concepts that we use today like for instance the fact that it is the energy on the day of birth and not the energy on the year of birth the one that represents the self.
What types of people benefit from using this BaZi astrology?
All types of people can benefit form using BaZi. Bazi allows people to discover the elements and major stars that govern their life, which determine their personality, strengths, wealth capacity, health risks and quality of personal relationships, among others. Additionally Bazi lets people know the potential for future situations, which allows them to make informed decisions at the present time.
How accurate is Bazi? Can Bazi predict the future like when a person might marry? Or, predict business success?
BaZi is very accurate, the only thing that Bazi can’t foresee is freewill. Nevertheless as with all “occult sciences”, interpretation plays a role in the accuracy of a reading. Bazi can predict when those events are very likely to happen.
Many individuals are seeking inner peace and a sense of spiritual connection. Can BaZi help with that?
Yes, BaZi can help with that as well because it can help people find their purpose in life. Additionally, in many cases the lack of inner peace is due to conflicts of energy in the birth chart, which BaZi reveals, allowing individuals to reach awareness that is the first step in the process of transformation. Furthermore, BaZi also provides indication on how to reduce or neutralize the energy conflicts and what actions are appropriate to reach a happier and more fulfilled life.
Can an individual use this modality to create a better life? For instance, maybe someone is having a hard time in life, at a career standstill; can they use a BaZi reading as a tool to create a more fulfilling life?
Bazi can be used to understand why the individual is having a hard time in life and what actions need to be taken to improve that situation. Additional improvement can be obtained through feng shui. Bazi is said to be the diagnosis and feng shui is said to be the prescription.
