Science is Catching Up With Ancient Teachings of Feng Shui

If you are having trouble completing the last pages of your book, putting the finishing touches on a painting, or pushing a work project to completion, try a simple placement of two mirrors.

At home, the mirrors should be at least big enough to take in your head and shoulders. At work, the mirrors can be bigger depending upon the space. Place them, facing one another, to both sides as you sit at your desk, stand at your easel, or work together as a team at a conference table. If there are many people involved, place the mirrors opposite one another on either side of the main door to the office (or the main door to the room in which the group is working).

You will be more relaxed and less tense. Writers and artists will be able to reach to infinity for just the right word or perfect color. Workers will find an infinite number of new solutions to an overworked problem, one that may have kept them stuck for a long time.

As things become easier and you move forward with new enthusiasm, other obstacles will fall away. There will be fewer worries, less turmoil, rough speech, or desperate actions. Watch everything calm down, and get ready for ideas to flow.

Just ask Brian Greene, professor of physics at Columbia University and author of The Hidden Reality. I suggest you get a copy! The first chapter is called The Bounds of Reality – On Parallel Worlds. Here is the first sentence:

“If, when I was growing up, my room had been adorned with only a single mirror, my childhood dreams might have been very different.”

As a child he was “mesmerized” by the “endless series of reflections” dancing in his bedroom’s parallel mirrors, and he began to imagine a new reality – “the possibility of worlds lying beyond the one we know.”

The entire book speaks to this prominent theme in modern science – parallel universes, and Brian Greene is now widely regarded for his groundbreaking discoveries.

Perhaps you too will follow one of your reflected selves in your re-purposed mirrors and masterfully create a life that breaks free of the status quo and becomes deeply connected to the natural order of things.

Feng shui is an ancient practice developed over 3,000 years ago in China. Feng shui is not religion or superstition; it is a science because its formulas and fundamentals are based on empirical research and it is an art because experience and judgment are critical in the analysis.  Feng Shui focuses on the study of Qi (pronounced “chi”, which is vital life energy) and how it can be harnessed to create harmonious living; better health, successful career or business, and fulfilling relationships for the people inhabiting the space.  Follow AYRIAL
