The Potential of a Hidden Pathway
In the Helpful People area (the front, right corner) of the Yuyan Garden in Shanghai, there is a rock formation that is higher than the outer wall. As we meandered through the opening, H.H. Grandmaster Professor Lin Yun, renown Feng Shui Master (and my teacher for 25 years), told us that the height of the formation strengthens the Helpful People area of this garden, bringing great success and visitors from many different countries.
This particular stone formation also encloses a hidden pathway to another section of the famous garden. When we reached the other side, Professor mentioned that the pathway means that there is hidden potential in this area called Helpful People. Whatever person arrives to help, he or she will have hidden potential and abilities.
“You can make great use of this idea in your own garden.”
Just the fact that the rock is higher than the outer wall is enough to enhance the ability to attract generous, talented, and helpful people. The fact that there is also a hidden pathway is even better. It is not necessary that your path meander anywhere else in your garden, but it does need to give the impression that it does.
You might simply add a light behind the rock to give the impression that there is more area to explore. If it is not feasible to install a large rock in your garden, simply add a false window that makes it seem as if something is beyond. Just giving the impression that one can move through this area, is enough.
Set your intention that those you need will come to your aid. Get ready for their arrival, be open to the help that is offered, and step out into a fortunate and giving world.
With gratitude for our time with His Holiness . . .
